Saturday, Sherod and I had some fun.
Here it's the middle of August and the peaks are snow covered. It has been raining for 2 days, and the temperatures even down in the valley were down around 48. The high in Denver for Friday was a record low!
We took a ride down some back roads, and when a sign said "ROAD CLOSED" we went for it :-)
It was a little rough in a few places, muddy in others (no pictures of that!).... but at least it wasn't washed out. It was fun!
The rain was making suttle colors on evergreens seem dramatic.
